Loopwise collects nothing, sends nothing and shares nothing.
Everything stays on your phone.
Who publishes the app
Loopwise is published by Rm Thrt. This policy explains what the app does with your data.
What the app does not do
- No account, no sign-in.
- No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting service.
- No third-party library that collects data.
- No network access: the Android version does not even request the Internet permission.
Audio input (the “microphone” permission)
Your amp sends its sound to the phone over USB. Android and iOS treat any audio input as the microphone, so the app asks for the microphone permission.
- The sound is processed in real time, on the phone.
- It is recorded only when you record a loop.
- Guitar detection (drum mode, automatic activation) analyzes the sound as it comes in. It keeps nothing except the loops you record.
- Your loops are saved as audio files in the app’s private storage on the phone (the library). The app never sends them anywhere.
Motion and proximity sensors
When you turn on gesture triggers or automatic activation, the app reads the accelerometer, the gyroscope or the proximity sensor to detect a tap, a tilt, a rotation or a hand over the screen. These readings are used in real time, on the phone, and are neither saved nor sent.
Bluetooth audio devices
To play cue beeps in a Bluetooth headset, the app lists the audio outputs connected to the phone and shows their names. This list stays in the app.
Purchases
If you unlock Loopwise Premium, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store, under their own policies. The app only keeps, on the phone, the fact that Premium is unlocked and the start date of the free trial. The publisher receives none of your payment details.
Support emails
If you write from Help & support, the app prepares an email in your own mail app. For amp or sound issues, you can attach the amp setup: phone model, Android version, the app’s audio settings and the amp’s USB description. You see all of it before sending, and nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself.
Settings
Your settings (language, style, triggers, drum sounds, latency and so on) are saved on the phone, in the app’s storage.
Backups
Your phone’s own backup (Google backup on Android, iCloud on iOS) may include the app’s data, depending on your device settings. Google or Apple handle these backups under their own policies; the app has no access to them.
Keeping and deleting your data
Everything stays on your phone for as long as you keep it. You can delete loops from the library at any time. Uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from the phone.
Children
Loopwise is not directed at children under 13. In any case, it collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Since the publisher receives no data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. For any question, write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
